A better way to manage school dismissal.
2026Founded from a real school need
GoHome was founded in 2026 after our founder saw firsthand how difficult it can be for school staff to coordinate dismissal accurately and efficiently.
While providing technology support at an elementary school, he watched staff manage car riders, bus riders, and transportation changes through a shared Google Sheet. Although everyone worked hard to keep the information current, simple typing mistakes could create serious confusion. An incorrect number could show a bus rider as a car rider, send a student to the wrong dismissal area, or cause a child to miss the bus.
There must be an easier way.
GoHome was created to give teachers, dismissal coordinators, office personnel, and administrators a clearer way to manage the end of the school day. The system brings car pickup, bus arrivals, classroom notifications, temporary transportation changes, absences, office holds, and important dismissal alerts into one organized platform.
We understand that every school handles dismissal differently. GoHome can be configured around each school’s existing procedures, including its classrooms, bus routes, car placards, pickup locations, staff responsibilities, and transportation policies. Our goal is to support the people already doing the work by giving them practical tools that improve communication and reduce avoidable confusion.
We provide setup assistance, roster-import support, staff training, and ongoing guidance to help schools introduce GoHome with confidence. Schools may subscribe individually, while districts and organizations with multiple campuses can choose packages designed for managing several school locations.
GoHome began with a real problem observed in a real school environment. It continues to be guided by the same purpose: helping school teams make dismissal more organized, understandable, and dependable.
